Early Life of Muhammad Rizwan

Mohammad Rizwan was born on June 1, 1992, into a decent, down-to-earth Pashtun family in Peshawar, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Pakistan, where he grew up as the second of three brothers in a household of six siblings. Raised in a region fiercely passionate about the sport, he developed a deep love for cricket at a tender age and honed his raw, athletic reflexes playing tape-ball cricket in local neighbourhoods. Despite facing financial hardships and coming from a challenging background, his unyielding determination drove him to transition to hard-ball cricket. He actively played for prominent local clubs like the Islamia College and the Shama Club. His exceptional talent behind the stumps and ability to anchor innings quickly caught the eye of selectors, leading to his breakthrough selection for the Peshawar under-19 team in 2007 and his professional domestic debut with the Peshawar Panthers in 2008, setting the foundation for his future international stardom.
