Mohammad Rizwan has anchored Pakistan’s middle-order in One-Day Internationals (ODIs) with clinical precision since making his debut in 2015 against Bangladesh. Initially shuffling positions, he cemented his status as a frontline wicketkeeper-batsman by slamming his maiden century (115 runs) against Australia in 2019.His peak ODI performance came during the 2023 ICC Cricket World Cup, where he finished as Pakistan’s top run-scorer, highlighted by a masterclass unbeaten 131* against Sri Lanka to orchestrate the highest successful run-chase in World Cup history. Renowned for his busy style of play and sharp running between the wickets, he also holds the joint-world record for the most fielding dismissals in a single ODI innings (6 catches). Across 103 matches, he has amassed nearly 3,000 runs at an impressive average of 41.72.
